JOB TITLE: DESIGN ENGINEER
Location: Annapolis, MD
GENERAL SUMMARY:
A BSCE and 2 - 3 years of experience with site grading, stormwater
management, sediment and erosion control, storm drainage, road, sewer, and
water design and applications. Experienced with AutoCAD, TR-55, TR-20,
and Hec-Ras. Duties would include project design.
MINIMUM EDUCATION, LICENSURE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
A BSCE and 2 – 3 years of experience.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:
Site grading, stormwater management, sediment and erosion control, storm
drainage, road, sewer, and water design and applications, including the
preparation of construction documents and plans. Understanding the local
regulations and ordinances as they pertain to land development site
design. Perform civil design calculations (grading, drainage, geometrics,
etc.), preparation of plans and specifications, technical comparisons and
similar technical work as required. Research design options and document
findings for other project engineers and/or project managers. Work on
other assignments as directed.
