Ever wondered what your brain looks like?
SMOKERS and NON-SMOKERS WANTED!
You will be paid for your time and receive a picture of your brain!
• Healthy individuals between the ages of 18 and 50 who currently smoke cigarettes are being recruited to participate in brain imaging studies at NIDA (a division of the National Institutes of Health) in Baltimore.
• The purpose of these studies is to examine the effects of nicotine on brain activity and cognitive performance.
• Non-smokers are also needed to participate as a control group.
• Some studies may require 1 to 4 visits for 1-5 hours each; others may involve overnight sessions.
• The time and days of sessions are very flexible. Generally, the sessions take place during the day, Monday-Friday.
In addition to study payment, you will be given lunch and reimbursed for travel expenses!
