Physics, Assistant Professor

The Physics Department at Loyola College invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in physics or astronomy beginning in September 2005. The successful candidate is expected to develop an active research program involving undergraduates in a liberal arts environment. The professor will teach three undergraduate physics courses per semester during the academic year. These include classes and laboratories at all levels for non-science majors, science majors in general, and physics majors. A PhD in Physics or a related field is required. Postdoctoral experience is desirable.
