The Deparment of Psychology at Loyola College in Maryland invites applications for a tenure-track faculty appointment at the assistant professor level in the department of psychology. Loyola College is a Jesuit comprehensive university with a strong commitment to teaching, scholarship, and service, offering B.A., M.S., and Psy.D. degrees in psychology.
This position includes student advising, directing and mentoring of student research projects (i.e., theses and dissertations), and serving on departmental and college committees.
Applicants must possess an earned doctorate in clinical psychology. Candidates must be able to teach graduate-level cognitive/intellectual assessment and personality assessment courses, as well as supervise assessment cases at the Loyola Clinical Centers; assessment expertise may be with child or adult populations. Preference will be given to candidates with an interest in teaching undergraduate research courses, such as Research Design, Statistics, and Tests and Measurements. A successful candidate will demonstrate potential for establishing a strong, productive research program.
